YOUR BAPTISM

There is nothing more exciting for a priest than to add to the numbers of people that proclaim Christ as their Saviour through baptism. 

Due to the commitments of Sunday Morning worship we hold our baptism services throughout the year (except advent and lent) on Sunday afternoons after the main service has ended at either 12.30pm or 3.00pm.  This ensures that those being baptised and their families and friends are the focus of our attention.

A member of the clergy team will visit the family of those to be baptised, to talk through the meaning of baptism and also to explain how the service will run on the day.  This also ensures that we begin to build up a relationship with families and neighbours from our local community.

Each service is relaxed and informal.     

Baptism is open to everyone who lives within the parish boundaries or who has a proven connection with the church.  However, if you are unsure or would like further details, please contact us. 

There is no charge for a baptism, however, a collection is made at the end of the service.
