WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE PARISH

 

Bring and Buy and Coffee Morning

On Wednesday 7th July we held another of our Bring & Buy Sales and Coffee Morning at Gardner Hall

There was time to sit and chat and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee accompanied buy fresh cream and strawberry scones.

before having a look at the linen, bric-a-brac and book stalls.

There was also a raffle to end the morning.  

A great time was had by all and monies raised will go
into church funds

PROMS ON THE VINEYARD

On Saturday 26th June over 250 people gathered on the Vineyards for the 4th Auunal Proms.  People brought picnincs and drinks and the weather was glorious.

old and new.

Michael Buble tribute artist

Sandra sang aria's from popular operas

accompanied by Elspeth on the piano.

Janet Gayle sang tune from the shows.

& Geoff sang songs from the 60's

and the evening ended in Proms style with a sing-a-long.

CALL MY BLUFF

On Saturday 30th Januray we held a "Call My Bluff" evening. 
Over 70 people came along to guess the meanings of words ranging from Ansate to Zenana. 
We were treated to home-made soup and crusty bread to keep out the winter chills. 
There was a also a raffle and the winning team members each received a bottle of wine as a prize.

A great night was had by all and £400 was raised towards church funds.
